For our every-two-year trip to Hawaii, this year we decided to rent a house.  A few years ago, we rented a house in Kauai that was an unmitigated disaster.  The house was awful.  We rented it on the weak recommendation of a co-worker.  This time, we're using one of the national rental agencies.  We booked it for our kids' Spring Break in March.
