I was considering all these bans on texting while driving. Hmmm, I wondered surely they must have some way to convert voice to characters on the iPhone so you can send text to someone while you're driving.

I found "Dragon Dictation" which is not hands free but better than hunting-and-pecking on the dang micro-keyboard (apparently Siri will handle this for you). But for us without the iPhone 4s (required for Siri), this is Plan B. And since it's FREE, it's Plan B+
