Nerdo Good vs. Evil

If I tried explaining the politics and ramifications of how certain companies squash innovation you would be bored to tears and/or I would probably get sued.

Thus, I can only provide a little history lesson built into a NYT article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/26/technology/companies/26mozilla.html

Just an example of David slowing down Goliath.

However, the visitors to my blog have (mostly) wisely chosen the good-guy browser. Go 40%!

I love Firefox. Plus, the husband (who works for one of the two Borgs of the Tech World: e-mail me with a guess Johnny) would divorce me if I went with anything different.

I like Firefox too. I did try Google Chrome but read that it was unstable - not that I found it unstable, so switched back to Firefox. I do like the open source software concept. Unless things drastically change, I can't see myself changing.

Firefox!!! I loved it since the day I downloaded it. Our familynerd (my BIL and he knows I call him the familynerd, he takes pride in it) adviced me to do so and once again, he was right.
